Carla passed away on June 5th, 2021, in San Rafael, CA after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Final interment will be at Agency Cemetery, Agency, Iowa, where her mother is buried.

Carla was born to Harold and Mary (Reighard) Frieberg in Ottumwa, Iowa. At age 16, Carla ventured to California and lived here the rest of her life. She honed the many skills of an Iowan girl throughout her working life: computer tech support, property management, accounting & DIY expert. She had worked the last 30 years for Con-Soft, Main Street Computer Store, Kozy Homes, & Ko-Ri Incorporated, all from the same office! Carla was married in 1981 to George Kelsey. They later divorced but she forever loved her step-daughters, Ramona & Sasha. Carla married Charles Cloud in December 1989 and was thrilled to become a step-mother to Tammy & Sandra.

Carla was wonderfully kind-hearted, generous, and incredibly funny with a great sarcastic humor and ability to laugh. She smiled readily, was always positive, and looked at the bright side of life, which made her easy to love. She will be sorely missed by all.

Carla was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charles. She leaves behind step daughters Tammy & Sandra Cloud. Brothers Frank (Cherie) Frieberg, Tom (Lisa) Frieberg, John (Gail) Frieberg, sister Cindy (Scott) Lowe, sister Rebecca Janic and many nieces, nephews and friends including special friends Terry & Alena Kosewic.
